Caribbean Blue Schools Network Partners Webinar
16
Summary
The Caribbean Blue Schools Network, which now includes 13 national coordinators, has strengthened its regional presence this year through the establishment of official documents and collaborative efforts around Ocean Literacy. One of the main challenges identified across programs is the lack of funding, making it essential to connect with potential partners who can provide materials, resources, or other forms of support. To broaden engagement and build a stronger network of collaborators, an Open Call for Caribbean Blue Schools Partners was launched this month by IOCARIBE, inviting organizations, institutions, and independent practitioners involved in Ocean Literacy in the Caribbean to join. As part of this initiative, an open regional webinar will take place on September 16, 2025 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, GMT-5 Colombia time), offering participants the chance to learn more about the network, present their work, explore opportunities to collaborate as partners, resource providers, or supporters, and connect with peers and coordinators across the region. The event is virtual and open to all interested participants.
