Summary

Integrating ocean observation data into the MSP process is crucial for any MSP initiative. However, many countries are not yet leveraging this valuable data. To address this gap, IOC’s MSPglobal and Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) are organising two online workshops to consult a broad range of experts in ocean observation data on how to develop a user-friendly data toolbox for MSP practitioners. The goal of the workshops is to showcase current technologies, available datasets and real-world examples while addressing key aspects of ocean observation integration for MSP and discussing the collaborative creation of the publication.
