Summary

During this information session the draft version of the new policy (IOC Data Policy and Terms of Use (2023)) will be presented and explained. This draft was the result of the previous steps that included: (i) desk study on existing policies (IOC, UN, non-UN) by the IOC/IODE Secretariat; (ii) consultations with and drafting sessions by IOC regional subsidiary body and IOC programme representatives (members of the IWG-DATAPOLICY); (iii) feedback received from 18 UN and non-UN organizations and other partners. Participants will be able to ask questions after the presentation.
