Summary

The IOCARIBE Capacity Development Working Group supports the strengthening of regional capacities in ocean science, ocean observation, marine data management, and related technical fields across the Caribbean and adjacent regions. It promotes cooperation among Member States, facilitates training opportunities, supports knowledge exchange, and contributes to the implementation of IOC/UNESCO priorities, including the UN Ocean Decade and regional initiatives aimed at enhancing scientific and institutional capacities for sustainable ocean management.
