Grenada Integrated Geophysical Hazards SOP Development Workshop

Resumen

The Integrated Geophysical Hazards SOP Development Workshop to be held on October 21-22 at the True Blue Bay Resort forms part of a UNESCO/IOC project, funded by the Government of Japan, to strengthen integrated Early Warning Systems (EWS) for geophysical hazards in Pacific and Caribbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS). As one of the pilot countries for this project, Grenada is receiving support to establish integrated geophysical hazards EWS and mitigation systems at the national and community level.

The workshop will bring together key stakeholders and community representatives to co‑develop harmonised, actionable SOPs for earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides and volcanic activity.
