Impact at Scale: Creating Lasting Change in the Deep Ocean Community
27 - 29
Resumen
In 2022, the community came together to identify focused initiatives to address global challenges in the deep sea. In 2023, the meeting focused on creating collective solutions to scientific and societal needs across communities and disciplines by increasing our ability to observe the deep sea across the globe. At the 2024 meeting we reflected on all that our community had accomplished at the Collective Solution Accelerator and dug into identifying the gaps and missing pieces that are still needed to achieve solutions to our global challenges.
In this years meeting, our 4th, we seek to celebrate and learn from what the community has accomplished over the last four years and the ways in which we have created lasting change and impact. As always we'll also set our sights ahead, to what we as a community wish to prioritize toward creating impact in the years ahead. Please join us and contribute your insights and lessons learned, as well as your vision for the future of deep ocean observing.
