Working Group 1 on Tsunami Risk, Community Awareness and Preparedness Officers Meeting

Resumen

This is an initial meeting of the WG2 Chair and Vice-Chairs with the ICG/IOTWMS Secretariat.

The intent of the meeting is to: 

• Recall the updated Terms of Reference of the WG as approved by the ICG/IOTWMS XIV
• Recall the Recommendations / Actions from the ICG/IOTWMS XIV relevant to the WG
• Provide an update on the Memberships based on the nominations received from the Member States so far in response to CL 3026 (some more expected)
• Provide an update on the ongoing / upcoming initiatives / projects relevant to the WG 
• Discuss broad workplans for the inter-sessional period (planned meetings, activities, etc.)
• Share Key documentation relevant to the WG
