Release of the third edition of the Global Ocean Science Report – Investing in Sustainable Ocean Solutions

Webinar presenting the contents and findings of Global Ocean Science Report – Investing in Sustainable Solutions.

This third edition builds on the analyses presented in the previous reports and incorporates Member State inputs submitted through the GOSR questionnaire issued in 2025 via Circular Letter 3035. It extends time series on investment and scientific capacities and research activities, enabling broader analysis of trends, resilience, and vulnerability. As such, the third edition provides the most comprehensive assessment of ocean science to date, examining not only how knowledge is produced, but also how it is shared, applied, and translated into societal benefits.
