Tsunami Ready Recognition Programme Summit

Résumé

To review the UNESCO IOC CARIBE-EWS Tsunami Ready Recognition Programme (TRRP) progress, benefits and lessons learned towards the attainment of the UN Ocean Decade Goals, the Seventeenth session of the ICG/CARIBE-EWS recommended to organize a second Tsunami Ready summit (the first was held in Puerto Rico in 2010).  The 2nd TRRP Summit will be held in Willemstad, Curaçao, Kingdom of the Netherlands on 20 and 21 April 2026 followed by the ICG CARIBE-EWS XIX Session (22-24 April 2026). 

The Summit is organized by UNESCO-IOC in conjunction with its Caribbean Tsunami Information Centre (CTIC) and North-Eastern Atlantic, Mediterranean and Connected Seas Tsunami Information Centre (NEAMTIC), and the USA-based NOAA International Tsunami Information Center and its Caribbean Office (ITIC-CAR).
