MSPglobal 2.0 aims to develop guidelines and actionable steps for integrating marine protection and restoration into Marine Spatial Planning (MSP).

To this effect, the initiative is organising online workshops to consult a broad range of experts in biodiversity conservation on the key aspects of developing a biodiversity-inclusive process to complement the MSPglobal International Guide.
