International Day for Biological Diversity, 22 May 2012, Event 'Young for the Ocean"

2012 International Day for Biological Diversity – Young for the Ocean

 To celebrate the 2012 International Day for Biological Diversity on Tuesday, 22 May on the theme of marine biodiversity, UNESCO-IOC will introduce 200 students, aged 12 to 17, to the world of marine biodiversity. The day-long celebration in Room XII in Fontenoy (UNESCO, 7 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris - Salle XII) will include presentations from renowned specialists on marine biodiversity and personalities from the word of sailing. Films, quizzes, exhibitions and participative activities are also part of the programme. (Links and Français below.)
